Hello Homestead Hurricane Parents!

We are STILL in need of 8 volunteers for tomorrow night’s 10 and Under meet at the City of Mission Pool. We need:

1 - Computer Swim Card Reader -- At away meets, this volunteer reads the swimmers times to the Computer entry person (who is from the home team) and provides a second pair of "eyes" to make sure the correct times are entered.

7 - Timers -- collect the time card from the swimmer prior to a race. Use stopwatches to time a swimmer's race and record the time

As a reminder, Homestead will be charging parents a $250 fine for failing to keep the volunteer promise of at least one parent from each family to volunteer at least once a season. All volunteers receive one free guest pass, and one $10 off a $30 or more order at Homestead Grille for every meet you volunteer at throughout the season.

Additionally, you don’t need to necessarily work the same meet your child is at. If you are a parent of an older child that swims on Thursdays, you can still volunteer at tomorrow’s meet to meet your required volunteer hours. Furthermore, you can focus more on your older child swimming at their meet.

Finally, if you have already met your family volunteer hours this season, we will not discourage you from volunteering again, to help meet our required volunteers for meets.
